SANS Trail System
The SANS Trail System stretches 5,000 kilometres within 4 Zones managed by 21 snowmobile clubs across Nova Scotia. To build such an extensive network of trails has taken considerable financial resources as well as the extraordinary efforts of hundreds of volunteers. Dedicated snowmobilers are known for paying their own way and rolling up their sleeves to make trails a reality. The SANS Trail Permits are a source of revenue for trail development, operation and grooming. Permit sales alone are not sufficient to cover all the associated costs. Clubs rely heavily on government/OHV grants, fundraising and donated products and services.
Our dedicated club volunteers are the backbone of organized snowmobiling!
How To Purchase A SANS Trail Permit
Permits are available from a variety of sources (ie., local clubs, snowmobile dealers, service providers.)
Check with individual Member Club Listings for actual locations and seller information.
